The Wizard of Oz is one of America’s most beloved films. Watch as Judy Garland tries to find her way home with the help of her dog Toto, three new friends, the good witch Glinda, and the Wizard himself. Recommended for adults and kids of all ages who are not afraid of houses whirling in tornadoes, fields of poppies, cackling wicked witches, and flying monkeys.

The film won several Academy Awards including Best Music Song for "Over the Rainbow" and is rated #10 in the American Film Institute’s list of top movies. MGM; 104 min; Technicolor; 1939

This is a Films & Videos program from SFPL. From feature films to youth-made videos, we’ve got something great to watch.
