Naturalization WorkshopUnited States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) presents a workshop that will cover the naturalization process, including eligibility requirements and the application process. The workshop will include a mock interview, with a question and answer period and the distribution of related resource materials to follow. The workshop is intended to be a general discussion of the naturalization process. Legal advice and questions about individual cases will not be provided. For specific case inquiries, please call 1-800-375-5283. This program will be conducted in Cantonese, supplemented by English.

*Drawing a Portrait with Cara GoldsteinDrawing a portrait is a great skill to have. You will learn the measurements of the face, how to shade, and create likeness. Bring a photograph of yourself, friends, family or celebrity. We will use pencil and charcoal. This protrait will tell a story. Materials included. For teens, age 12 and older. DIY Plantable CardsCelebrate summer by sending your friends a card that will sprout beautiful flowers or fragrant herbs! Learn how to make your own seed paper from scratch and take home a card or two that will surely delight whomever you decide to send it. Instructions will only be in English. Sourdough Baking WorkshopCat Shimizu, the "breaducator" from Sour Flour--a Mission District dedicated to neighborly bread gifting and bread education--will talk about the art and science of making bread using a sourdough starter. Samples and suggested reading will help get you started on the fun, healthy, and delicious new adventure in baking. This program will only be in English.
