The Potrero Hill Artists’ Exhibition is the oldest annual art show in San Francisco and owes its longevity to Potrero Hill artists and community. The exhibition originated with a group of artists who painted with, or under the tutelage of, the late Charles Farr, who staged the first exhibit in 1951 at Potrero Branch Library.
