Audiovisual Center - 1st Floor

Hours

The Louis R. Lurie Foundation Audiovisual Center houses most of the Main Library's adult and teen non-print materials available to check out, primarily DVDs, CDs, audiobooks and language learning materials, with some VHS tapes.

• Television series
• Instructional, biographical, historical and documentary films
• International language learning

On CD

• Music
• Fiction and non-fiction audiobooks
• International fiction audiobooks
• International language learning

On VHS

• Selected biographical, international, and feature length films (this limited collection may be searched for via the Library’s catalog and requested at the 1st Floor Paging Desk or reserved online)

Programming

Thursdays in the Koret

• Please join us every Thursday @ 12 noon for a free film/video screening in the Main Library's Koret Auditorium.

To receive a monthly email list of program information, send an email request to the series coordinator.

Viewing/Listening

Use your Library card to view Library DVDs and listen to Library CDs on dedicated PCs on the Main Library’s 1st floor. Reservations are recommended. Click here to make a reservation at a DVD/CD station. Please note that SFPL does not provide headphones for use on the computers.
