How do you take a popular children's book, plus Oscar nominated movie, and turn it into a stage musical? Join us as you go behind the scenes of making the new musical, Coraline. The SF Playhouse presents the West Coast premiere of this new work starting Nov. 16, with book by David Greenspan, music and lyrics by Stephin Merritt (of the band The Magnetic Fields), and adapted from the children's book by Newbery Award-winning writer Neil Gaiman. Find out what it takes to go from the page to the stage with SF Playhouse's Artistic Director Bill English and special guests. You'll also have a chance to win tickets to see the show.
