Join us when Dr. Rodger C. Birt, author of History’s Anteroom – Photographs of San Francisco 1906- 1909, presents an illustrated lecture of photographs taken in San Francisco from 1906-1909. These photographs illuminate the city that was and point to the city that eventually would be built after the earthquake and fire. A book sale by Readers Books follows the event. This program is part of One City One Book, San Francisco Reads.
