Sara Poot-Herrera, professor at the University of California, Santa Barbara, will lead a discussion on the role of women during the Mexican Wars of Independence.

This lecture is offered in Spanish, with a bilingual English/Spanish discussion to follow.

Poot-Herrera's presentation is part of the Celebrating Mexico exhibit sponsored by the International Center, 3rd floor, Main Library.
