The program will screen the Academy Award winning documentary, “Days of Waiting” by Steven Okazaki that tells the story of Estelle Peck who married Arthur Ishigo and chose to go with her Japanese-American husband to an internment camp during World War II.

This program is in association with the Japanese American Citizens League in SF.

A panel of Nisei (second generation Japanese Americans), Yo Hironaka, Dr. Himeo Tsumori, and Mas Kawaguchi, lived in San Francisco with their families and were incarcerated in Topaz located near Delta, Utah. They will share their personal experiences both during and after their incarceration as well as respond to questions from the audience.
