What happens when we try to create creative things? We're hard on ourselves. We say things like "I can't do it." "I have no talent." "I'm not creative, I'm a terrible artist." And so we stop making stuff. Or we only make things we feel good at. So think back to the last time you made something ugly... Wait. You haven't? Yeah, not many people have. Well Ugly gets short shrift, and it's just not fair. And beyond that, you might be surprised by what you feel and think when you try hard to make something hideous. So come to Bernal and take the UGLY CHALLENGE. Supplies provided.
Green Saturdays@Bernal takes place the second Saturday of every month, featuring hands-on activities and useful information for sustainable living. This program is for all ages, we encourage family participation.
