Using Familysearch.org for Your Genealogy Research

Ralph Severson, Director of the Oakland Family History Center, will show genealogists of all levels how to get the most out of  www.FamilySearch.org. This FREE website provides an enormous collection of historical records, resources, and services to help people research their families.  Records on the site include information for the United States as well as for many other countries.  

This talk will focus primarily on learning to search the records, finding information in the card catalog, and exploring the Learn tab which includes the Familysearch Wiki.
