Liam O'Brien, noted Bay Area lepidopterist, speaks about easy ways to identify our 34 breeding species of butterfly within the city, as well as important plants gardeners can grow to enhance these enchanting natives' life cycles and restore native habitats. The Nature in the City group will also give updates on their Green Hairstreak butterfly restoration project, and copies of their field guide "The Butterflies of San Francisco" will be available for sale.
This is a Green Stacks event.
