GreenArt Workshop

Event detail

The tradition of kite making dates at least as far back as 5th century BC China. In both Eastern and Western culture, kites have served many purposes from spiritual, military, scientific, to the purely recreational. This workshop utilizes the kite as a vehicle for exploring identity and memory. Looking at various approaches to portraiture through symbolic representation, students will reflect on and learn how to visually express a significant relationship in their lives. Participants will gain knowledge of the cultural history of kites, discover how to make it personally relevant, as well as consider how art may interact in the public sphere. For children of all ages.

Este es un evento de Ecología (Green Stacks).

Actividades manuales o con base en la ciencia para los niños y sus familias. Y todo tipo de clubs: de libros, de ajedrez, de origami, y mucho más.
