What better way to celebrate the birthday of beloved children's book author Dr. Seuss and Read Across America than to hop onboard the bookmobile at the zoo?
Stop by the Wildlife Theater to meet Cat the Hat in person, to listen to celebrity guests like Golden State Warrior's Freestyle Franco and others read beloved Dr. Seuss classics, and to learn fun facts about our animals from Seuss-themed Keeper Talks. Then come onboard the Early Literacy Mobile, parked near the Children's Zoo entrance, for a quick read or to check out your favorite Dr. Seuss books.
