Two to six year olds (and their families) are this music duo’s favorite audience. Jacob Stein and Jason Rabinowitz, are an incredible, Brooklyn based duo visiting California just for Tricycle Fest.
With hand-painted sets, original puppets, and a truly cool sound with songs such as "Subway Train" and"Winter Beard" (who doesn’t like to stay warm when it’s cold?), it is with good reason that The Pop Ups were named one of 2012’s "Best 15 Bands for Kids" by Time Out New York and earned a 2013 Grammy nomination. They've presented at the National Association for Education of Young Children and specialize in delighting preschoolers while hleping them learn.
Join us for their tour of the San Francisco Public Library and San Mateo County Library; check out their albums at one of our locations; and most importantly—rock, play, learn at the library! Because playing is just as important as singing in early childhood learning, we will be raffling off one tricycle to a lucky concertgoer at each event.
Come to the library, check out the show, get a library card, and enjoy some books!
Rock, play, learn at the library! The sixth annual Tricycle Music Fest brings free family concerts weekends this Fall. Check sfpl.org/tricycle for full schedule.
