Anita de Lucio offers a gorgeous program on altar building for Dia de los Muertos. She brings objects to build the altar and invites participants to create a remembrance of a lost loved one. An interactive workshop explaining the celebration of Día de los Muertos for all children and their caregivers.

Programs celebrating one of the many cultures that make up San Francisco, during their time of special recognition.

This program is part of ¡VIVA!, the library’s celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, which takes place every year from September 15 – October 15.
