Add to my calendar
Joshua Muscat, founder and director of the San Francisco Botanical Medicine Clinic and Information Center on Taraval, has been an herbalist and responsible wildcrafter in the Western tradition for 20 years. He will illustrate the history of Western herbal medicine, revealing how ordinary people learned to heal themselves utilizing plants growing nearby. We can still make, aquire, and use herbal remedies to strengthen weaknesses, redirect excessive tendencies, move fluids, and excite stagnating tissue. Mr. Muscat will also discuss more complex conditions requiring the expertise of an herbalist or other practitioner. Q& A will follow the talk.

This is a Green Stacks event.
