Capoeira Angola can be described as a cultural weapon, a martial art, a dance, a spiritual tradition, a philosophy, and a game played to the rhythm of percussion instruments and call response songs. Class will be taught by Destiny Arts Center instructor Daniel! Space is limited. Please contact Alice at 415-355-2848 or alicechan@sfpl.org for more information or reservation.

This program is part of VIVA, the library’s celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, which takes place every year from September 15 – October 15.
