A Genius of All Ages: Su Dongpo

The exquisite modern publications and rare books (reproduced from the collection of Taiwan’s  National Central Library) on poet Su Dongpo (1037-1101)  will be displayed, including Annotated Poetry of Su Dongpo (1213 edition), a national treasure.  The books are presented in five themes:  recalling Su Dongpo's life, exploring the emotive world,  Dongpo’s realm of literature, his artistic life, and trends in Dongpo's thoughts.     

Related event: Mr. Lau Siu-Hung, Professor of  Chinese Literature,  National Taiwan University,  will speak  about  the  life and  literary works of Su Dongpo.   The event is to be conducted in Mandarin.
