Led by Green Art Workshop instructors, participants will investigate their surroundings and make connections to the landscape, manmade world, and community. We will experiment with various materials such as paper or fabric to collage and create a collaborative large-scale interlocking quilt that draws inspiration from the plantation-days Quilts of Gee’s Bend Alabama. The final piece will be crafted out of discarded materials, similar in concept and tradition to the historic Gee’s Bend Quilts. For ages 6 through adult! Please call 355-5707 to pre-register. Space limited
