*Golden Age of San Francisco Rock, Part 2

Event detail
The Golden Age of San Francisco Rock, Part 2: In the mid-to-late
1960s, San Francisco leapt to the forefront of rock music and youth
counterculture as a center for both psychedelic rock and the
psychedelic lifestyle. "The Golden Age of San Francisco Rock: Part
Two" features rare vintage film clips of San Francisco Bay Area
folk-rock and psychedelic greats like Jefferson Airplane, Big
Brother & the Holding Company with Janis Joplin, Santana, Sly & the
Family Stone, and Creedence Clearwater Revival. Presented by
local rock historian Richie Unterberger, this two-hour program will
feature entirely different material than the one he presented on the
same theme in San Francisco libraries last summer.
