The Summer Food Program is a USDA federally-funded child nutrition program providing free meals for youth when school is not in session.
The San Francisco Department of Children, Youth and Their Families partners with SFPL to provide this program, which ensures that FREE meals are available to any youth 18 and under.
San Francisco Public Library, in partnership with the Department of Children and Youth and Their Families, is serving FREE lunch to youth at 5 libraries this summer. Come for lunch, then hang out to read and learn! The libraries are Main, Bayview, Excelsior, Ocean View, and Visitacion Valley libraries. All youth ages 18 years and under are welcome. Lunch program starts on June 2nd and ends on August 8th. Please check specific library schedule for exact days and times.
