The Beauty of Precious Moments

The Photography of Hui-Yu Tseng
Event detail

The Chinese Center of the San Francisco library is very pleased to present the photography of local artist Hui-Yu Tseng. Having been educated at Tokyo’s Nihon University College of Art, Ms. Tseng has been part of exhibitions in Taiwan, Japan and Korea. This is one of the first showings of her work in the US.

Now living in the south bay, Ms. Tseng spends her day delivering meals to the homebound and the infirm, work that takes her all over the bay area. While driving, she encounters many beautiful moments - a sunrise in Napa, a rainbow in Palo Alto or storm clouds reflected off the bay in Redwood City – and uses her trained photographer’s eye to capture these views on film. With the backdrop of the natural beauty of the bay the resulting photographs are quite moving.
