Become the author and artist of your own story and make a book!  In this workshop, award-winning author, artist, and activist Maya Gonzalez will teach youth about what it takes to make a book and then will lead the kids in writing and illustrating their own books.

We Love Diverse Books is an SFPL program that explores diverse literature. Join us in January for activities that highlight the unique stories of our rich communities such as author talks, cooking classes, cartooning workshops and more.
