Not only do you receive a multitude of benefits, your membership donation supports Friends’ mission for a strong San Francisco Public Library, funding annual direct support to the Library for programs and resources and Friends’ advocacy, volunteer and community book programs.

Donate

Donate cash or noncash gifts directly to the San Francisco Public Library by submitting a completed gift form (SFPL-667) to the City Librarian's Office at 100 Larkin St., San Francisco, CA 94102, or Friends of the San Francisco Public Library.  For more information about past donations: Gift and donor disclosure forms , Friends of San Francisco Public Library gift and donor disclosure forms and Friends Financials (Form 990, etc). The Friends audited financial statements are posted on their website and current statements are added when available.

Get involved

Get involved with the Council of Neighborhood Libraries. The Council promotes dialogue among libraries, San Francisco neighborhoods, and community groups and city decision-makers.
