- Service desk with sight lines to all areas of the library
- Separate children, teens, and adult spaces
- New program room accessible after hours for community use
- Different roof heights with acoustical treatments to create quiet spaces
- Study room to allow space for quiet independent study
- Windows to provide lighting and natural ventilation to all areas of library
- Space for more books, computers and other materials

The Friends of the San Francisco Public Library are raising funds from private donations to pay for new furniture, fixtures, and equipment for the branch libraries. For more information on the Neighborhood Library Campaign, please contact TScheulov@friendssfpl.org.
