November 8th, 2016 Presidental Election

The 2016 Presidental Election will be held on November 8th, 2016: San Francisco voters will cast their ballots for local ballot measures, state measures, state candidates, and federal candidates.

Important Dates for the November 2016 Election

  • October 11 - City Hall Voting Center Opens
  • October 24 - Last day to register to vote for the November Election
  • November 1 - Last day to request a Vote-by-Mail Ballot
  • November 8 - Election Day
  • November 14 - Deadline for mail or delivery service receipt of Vote-by-Mail Ballots
  • December 8 - This is the last day for the California Secretary of State to finalize the state election results.
