Going Back to School by William Barrett

Last summer I decided, all by myself, to go back to school. I went to my counselor to ask for help, and he told me about John Adams. It’s part of City College. So I met with Dr. Phil, a counselor at the school, who put me in a class for reading and writing. I go every Monday and Wednesday for reading and writing. I enjoy going to school.

On Mondays, there are only two of us. It’s a small class. On Wednesdays there are 5 or 6 of us. I like both classes. Some days I work the computer. Some days we all read together. The teacher is very patient. I would like to read a whole book some day. That would be fun. I would like to write recipes in my own cookbook. And maybe you’ll see one in the next newsletter.
