El Centro Africano Americano es una colección de materiales para usar en la biblioteca que sirve de introducción a la historia y cultura africano-americana y africana a través de la diáspora de la población negra.
AfroSolo 2013 pays homage to many of the Black American art masters; some who are frequently mentioned in the narratives of art and history, and some whose names rarely surface in those narratives. Exhibited works are influenced by a "visual dialogue" with a particular work or series of works by artists such as the more known Romare Bearden and Elizabeth Catlett, as well as the lesser known but highly innovative and influential work of artist Noah Purifoy. The exhibit is curated by Michael Ross. Featured artists include Candi Farlice, Ron Saunders, April Martin Chartrand, William Rhodes, Idris Hassan, Virginia Jourdan, Ramekon O’Arwisters, Karen Seneferu, Letitia Waller, Malik Seneferu and Wanda Whitaker.August 15 - October 17, 2013
