Photographs by Lenn Keller. On the heels of the anti-war, black power, gay and women’s liberation movements of the 1970s, a tiny but powerful lesbian of color community emerged that pushed the envelope of Bay Area activism and culture. Through photographs, memorabilia and artifacts, many rarely or never seen, some highlights of the last four decades of lesbian of color culture and activism in the Bay Area are presented. The exhibit was culled largely from the archives of Lenn Keller.
