Merced Branch Library Grand Reopening

The San Francisco Public Library, Friends of the San Francisco Public Library and the Merced Library Campaign Committee cordially invite you to the reopening of the Merced Branch Library.  San Francisco Supervisor Sean Elsbernd and City Librarian Luis Herrera celebrate the opening.  The Chinese Drum Ensemble will open the program at 12:45.  The ceremony featuring speeches, the ribbon cutting, and the Chinese lion dancers begins at 1:00.  Library Services will be available from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.  Entertainment continues in the afternoon with the Gaucho Gypsy Jazz Band, the Lowell High School String Quartet, the Aptos Middle School Jazz Band, and, at 4:30 p.m. a special show with Magic Dan.
