Author Devorah Heitner speaks about the history of Black media makers who changed television from the inside out in the Black Power era. 

Featuring San Francisco's own Jewelle Gomez who worked on a pioneering program called Say Brother in Boston, in 1968.  The discussion will also feature great clips from shows like Soul! and Black Journal.
