Ken Arcia was born in Fresno, CA and became deaf at the age of 21, over 30 years ago.

He moved to the SF Bay Area 20 years ago and  has been a part of Deaf community including Deaf Counseling, Advocacy and Referral Agency (DCARA), DeafHope, Association of Late-Deafened Adults (ALDA),  and many more.

He attends as many deaf gatherings, meetings, social and cultural events as possible…usually with his camera in hand. He has been a photographer for over 10 years. He has become more visually-oriented after becoming deaf. and always tries to capture the moment.

Always natural, never posed.
