A regular meeting of the San Francisco Public Library Commission will be held as follows:

The meeting will be called to order.
1. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES - ACTION
Presentation and discussion of and possible action to approve the Minutes of the regular Commission meeting of January 16, 2003.

2. EXCELSIOR BRANCH DESIGN RECOMMENDATION - ACTION
Presentations by the design team and the peer review panel, discussion, and possible action to approve a design concept for the Excelsior Branch Library
3. BOND PROGRAM MANAGER’S REPORT - DISCUSSION
(This is a discussion item to allow the Branch Library Bond Program Manager to report on recent bond program related activities and make announcements.)
This report will consist of an informational presentation: none; regular reports: program budget and schedule; site acquisition, active projects; and upcoming community outreach; and special reports: none.

4. RICHMOND PROP. 14 APPLICATION - ACTION
Presentation and discussion of and possible action to recommend Board of Supervisors approval of an application for Prop. 14 State Library Bond Act funds for the Richmond Branch Library.

5. CAPITAL CAMPAIGN FOR THE BRANCH LIBRARIES - DISCUSSION
Presentation and discussion of the Friends & Foundation’s proposed Capital Campaign for providing furniture, fixtures, and equipment for branch libraries.

6. PUBLIC COMMENT
(This item is to allow members of the public to comment generally on matters within the Commission’s purview as well as to suggest new agenda items for the Library Commission’s consideration.)
