The San Francisco Public Library is fortunate to be hosting a great variety of authors during the month of November. Their book topics range from the Journey of Italian Americans, to Carville by the Sea, and from Jan Kerouac to Madame Chiang Kai-shek.

Join us for appearances by Hannah Pakula with her book The Last Empress, Vincenza Scarpaci who will give a slide presentation to illustrate her book The Journey of the Italians in America, a discussion of Jan Kerouac: A Life in Memory, by Gerald Nicosia, and Woody LaBounty, author of the new book, Carville-by-the-Sea: San Francisco’s Streetcar Suburb.
