I believe that we as human beings have all been vandalized to some extent. My goal as an artist is to find a way to express who I am as a human being in what I have experienced and a means to work through those experiences. It is my hope that my work might also speak to those who see it in a way that is meaningful to them. We can never completely reverse the vandalism that has been done to us, but I am certain that we can use it to teach us to be something more than we were before.
