I have always had an unhealthy reverence for the printed word—so I felt that I had to read this book before doing anything with it. It was one of the few books I have stopped reading before finishing. I renamed Judith Krantz’s Sex and Shopping, Conjugation and Consumption. That pretty much summed it up for me and this piece is related to the themes in the book.
