Mo's Real Faux Leather Library/School Book Bag
When I heard about the project I thought it was a fabulous idea but I had no intentions of
asking for a book. Then I went to the library to pick up a book for my lover and I saw
Alison Bechdel’s Dykes to Watch Out For among the slashed volumes. I cried. I LOVE
Dykes to Watch Out For and had great fun stitching selected panels onto the plastic
material. (This book includes some of my favorites.) As I fussed and cursed at the uneven
seams Mo kept up a steady stream of diatribe in my ear about the evils of PVC [being]
possibly more noxious than killing animals for leather. Thank you for doing this project.
