Re-Destroying, Re-Creating the Myths & Legends Book the Shiva Way
When I received the book Myths & Legends, I found nothing was seriously torn or
damaged in any way. While reading at each page I looked up close and found several
pages with images of faces and body parts cut out. I made a difficult decision to re-destroy
the book, I mean the entire large size book. Then [I] decided to re-create the myths and
legends like the Shiva way. Shiva is a Hindu deity and represents both a creator and
destroyer of the universe. The entire work is not completely in order nor at random. It is
my work in progress to continue to re-destroy and re-create the concept of visual images
and texts.
