San Francisco Public Library teen programs promote educational
and recreational enrichment along with lifelong learning opportunities.
Programs increase opportunities for building social skills, interacting with
different generations, acquiring mentors, and learning critical thinking skills.
Programs increase awareness of library resources, promote individual growth, and prevent youth violence.
San Francisco Public Library's Teen Programs are presented throughout the city's public library
system to meet the diverse interests of San Francisco residents, ages 13 through 18.
Funding for programs is provided through the Friends and Foundation
of the San Francisco Public Library, along with other contributions.
All programs are free to the public.
