Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

By J.K. Rowling

Wouldn't it be strange to wake up one morning and see a 10-foot tall giant standing in your doorway? Would it have been weirder if he said, “You are a Wizard.”

His uncle adopted Harry Potter when he was really small. Not that he wanted to. The Dursleys were not the most wonderful people you will meet. Most especially if you are born in the line of wizards and witches. Harry Potter's parents died when he was young. Voldemort, a very powerful and very wicked wizard wanted to take over the world. He collected on those people who were willing to follow him and killed all those who opposed. His parents fought him and were killed. Voldemort wanted to kill Harry Potter but just as he was about to kill him, his own attack was reflected back to him and rendered him powerless. Harry Potter was the only one that did not suffer the same fate as the other wizards and witches.

He was then brought over to the Dursleys to take care of him. Then one day, on his eleventh birthday, he found out that he was a wizard and will be studying at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.

There he met Ron Weasly and Hermione Granger. Their adventure starts here where they try to prevent Voldemort from stealing the Sorcerer's stone, a stone that will turn any metal into gold and gives out elixir of life. If Voldemort gets that stone, he will revive and threatens to take over the world. And you don't want that to happened now do you?

There are many adventures and more magic. Sometimes you just wish that the book will suck you in and have a wand of your own. Nothing is normal. And normal has no meaning in this book because it will have you spinning around. Oh you wont get hurt. Maybe unless you read the book while you do chores just like I did. I swear, I tripped over the toilet when I was mopping/reading. Not only that Harry potter has to deal with Voldemort, but he has to deal with himself too. Now it's not to say it's a serious book. There are also funny parts that will make you laugh your head off. And after you read the first one, you will want to read the next and the next and the next. Like the book is a trap if it's own. Bwahahahaha.
The adventure starts at the first page...
