The Scarlet Letter

by Nathaniel Hawthorne

In the early American days, people, who live in the American colonies, found freedom to practice their own religion and a new hope for a new life. The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne tells a story about a young woman traveling to the new world and found love. But, in the same time, her love causes her such sin that it bring revenge and sorrow to her and her scarlet letter.

Although, the scarlet letter is hard to understand the text in this novel but as you read along, image brings in to mind of events that is occurring in the book. Hawthorne writes of how Hester Prynne love, the revengeful Roger Chilingworth takes revenges against these who cross him, and the passionate loving Arthur Dimmesdale suffer from aching that the scarlet letter made. It is a really good drama for people who want a hit of love and hate in the novel reading, I would recommend this book.
