Ever wonder if ghosts are real? If they are, how can you tell a real ghost from a fake? Is it true that teens tend to experience poltergeists more than other age groups?

A real ghost hunter from the SF Ghost Society, Tommy Netzband, will talk about his experiences investigating ghosts & hauntings. He will also show you how to use ghost hunting tools & share some ghostly images & sounds he has caught on DVD.

Draw a picture, cut one out, or bring one in. Make a button to decorate your bag, jacket, shirt, hat, or whatever!

FYI: The buttons are 1 1/4 inches, so think small!

Want to learn some new make-up techniques? Are you looking for some tips on skincare? Then come to a Teen-led workshop at the Excelsior Branch.  We will have a demonstration and then you can practice what you learn! Pucker up, because well be making lip gloss and chapstick/lip balm.  Materials provided, but feel free to bring your own makeup, brushes, etc.  For everyone ages 12-18.

We’ll transform t-shirts into bags, then paint, sew and customize them.  Materials provided, but you are welcome to bring a t-shirt.  Ages 12-18. Materials are provided, but you are welcome to bring a t-shirt.

*Over 1 MILLION plastic bags are used globally EVERY MINUTE!

Baby sea turtles can get stuck in or accidentally eat plastic shopping bags that end up in the oceans!

Marine wildlife, such as sea turtles, mistake plastic bags for food and die.

BUT….Using a cloth bag will potentially eliminate 100′s of plastic bags in one cloth bag’s lifetime.

We’ll have fun, make our own awesome tote bags and help out ocean critters! See you there!
