San Francisco Bites!
This summer, the Teen Services Department launched the Vampire Writing Contest for teens. We received over 30 entries, from short horror stories to paranormal poetry and romantic fan fiction. With so many creative works submitted by so many promising young writers, it was excruciatingly difficult to select just three winners. With the help of the San Francisco Public Library’s Preservation Department, we’ve complied all of the original writing we received and created a bound book entitled “San Francisco Bites”. “San Francisco Bites” will be available for patrons to read as a reference book in the Main Library’s Teen Center. In the mean time, check out the winning entries below!
All of the stories are in PDF format.
First Place: “The Transformation” by Laura J.
Second Place: “Race with Fear…” by J.J.
Third Place: “A Diary of a Typical Teenager in Love” by Christina H.
