In-Person Career Coaching at the Main Library
Coaching is helpful for self-inquiry and self-assessment, as well as to receive encouragement, guidance on best practices, structure and “homework” to stay on track. Free half hour 1-on-1 sessions are available by appointment. Your appointment will be in the Sycip Family Conference Room on the 4th floor.
San Francisco Workforce Services invites you to attend the Career Advising Job Skills Assistance:

Job Centers - SF Office of Economic and Workforce Development
Job Centers connects job seekers in San Francisco with training and employment opportunities in technology, healthcare, hospitality, construction, and other growing industries.
Provides live interactive online help combined with online resources to guide you through the necessary tasks to get a job.
The SF LGBT Center - Employment Services
The Center offers a range of services, events and workshops tailored to support participants’ job searches, including networking opportunities with potential employers and training opportunities.
Transgender Employment Program
The Trans Employment Program (TEP) at the SF LGBT Center is a unique, collaborative program designed to help create inclusive workplaces and jobs for trans* people. The TEP supports you through every aspect of the job search process and matches you with trans friendly employers
Job Forum - Wednesdays - 6:30 PM
Group support for free - Every Wednesday 6:30 to 8:30 pm. The Job Forum welcomes professionals who are serious and committed to finding the next great job or career. The majority of our participants have a college or other advanced degree and/or previous job or career experience. However, we welcome job seekers of all ages, skill levels and status of careers.

Career Coaching through JVS can help clarify your career goals, plan a career transition or resolve issues that interfere with your career satisfaction and growth. For a subsidized fee of $120, Career Coaching is available to both employed and unemployed individuals who are looking for one-on-one career guidance.
