SUMMARY:Presentation: Deconstructing Rancho San Miguel - Facts, Myths, and Legends
DESCRIPTION:
Today's Glen Park district comprises only a fraction of the 4,443-acre swath of land once known as Rancho San Miguel. As the land of the district began to be parceled out in the 1850s, a complicated history of ownership arose. Evelyn Rose, founder of the Glen Park Neighborhoods History Project introduces the cast of historical characters who once called this land their own, dispels a long-held piece of neighborhood lore, and presents some new and surprising facts.

Connect: Evelyn Rose - Glen Park Neighborhoods History Project | Evelyn Rose - Email | Evelyn Rose - Facebook
