DESCRIPTION:<p>Postdoctoral Fellows from Genentech will share their career journeys in the biotechnology industry.&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Presenter Bio:</p><p>Elise grew up in Greece and completed a degree in Chemical Engineering before moving to California to pursue a PhD. During doctoral studies, research focused on celiac disease at the cellular level. Currently a postdoctoral researcher at Genentech, with an interest in how the body interacts with microbes. Enjoys SCUBA diving, hiking, and baking.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Cris is originally from Colombia and grew up in Texas. Completed a PhD at Harvard before moving to Genentech, where currently a postdoctoral fellow in the Physiological Chemistry department.
