She works clinically with health care workers, trainees, and young adults, and is a nationally recognized mental health advocate. Dr. Gold regularly writes for outlets such as&nbsp;<i>The New York Times</i>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<i>The Atlantic</i>, bringing empathy and clarity to conversations about burnout, wellness, and mental health.&nbsp;She did her residency training nearby at Stanford, and was chief resident there.</p>
