Over the years, the San Francisco History Center archives welcomed gifts of original works of art. This exhibition presents a selection of drawings, watercolors, lithographs and etchings that illuminate life in San Francisco across the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. From Lands End to the county line, explore how visual artists have interpreted this kaleidoscopic city.
Curated by a San Francisco History Center librarian Tom Carey. Works on view are drawn from the San Francisco Collection of Works on Paper.
