Amy Spivey is a Visiting Assistant Professor and Director of the Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic at UC Hastings Law. Through the UC Hastings Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, Professor Spivey and her students provide free legal representation to low-income taxpayers who have a controversy with the IRS, including help with tax audits, appeals, resolving issues with unpaid taxes, and U.S. Tax Court litigation. Professor Spivey is a frequent speaker on tax issues for low-income taxpayers.
