DESCRIPTION:<p>It's Family History Month, and Clotilde Yap, the&nbsp;Global Collections Manager at <a href="https://www.mychinaroots.com/">My China Roots</a>, will join&nbsp;this session of the San Francisco Genealogy Group to provide an introduction to Chinese genealogy research using the&nbsp;My China Roots database, which San Francisco Public Library has recently added to its <a href="https://sfpl.org/articles-databases/#!/filters?sfpl_az_filter=M">Articles & Databases collection</a>. My China Roots specializes in helping persons of Chinese heritage investigate their ancestry. The database counts over 200 million searchable Chinese ancestors (of which 278k are Chinese-American), and includes family tree books from China, immigration indexes from the USA, Chinese cemeteries from the USA and Southeast Asia, overseas Chinese business directories and more.</p>
